Extraordinary , this from http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=177838 "There are only 3 in MS-62, there are more of them around but it is a very rare coin. Apparently they discovered the DDO at the mint very early in the production run and managed to condemn and destroy most of them before they ever go out. Add to that the misfortune that someone decided to make counterfeit 1969 PLAIN DDO cents. The Secret Service confiscated a bunch of the 1969 S DDO cents along with the 69 plain fakes. A few of the 69 S coins were eventually returned but most of them were destroyed by the SS as counterfeits before it was determined that they were actually genuine Mint issues. In all grades there are probably between 20 and 50 known today. And it is probably closer to the low end of that estimate."
