    £610? You're having a Turkish (bath) Guv!

Talking 3ds, what a gorgeous Ebay coin this one was 202149723023 absolute jaw dropper, so nearly went nuts and put a must-win bid on it! Beautiful little coin. https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/1888-MAUNDY-THREEPENCE-BRITISH-SILVER-COIN-FROM-VICTORIA-BU-PROOFLIKE/202149723023#vi__app-cvip-panel

Thanks Mike, much appreciated. This one is on Ebay for £20 if anyone is interested (It's Not mine, I just wanted to see if I could work out what it was.. practice makes perfect!, although it may not be a terrible price looking at previous LCA sales)

Just a heads up. As "Unknown silver hammered coin - siege sixpence?" sold for 460 pounds, I've added illustrations of siege coin replicas from WorthPoint that I downloaded a few years ago. I've combined them and as seen from the "two two" shilling example, are not to scale. Although similar to the Ashmore replicas produced in the 1970's, they don't appear to be copied from any genuine pieces and probably not intended to deceive.

Yes, I'd agree with Freeman 102.

Hard to know what is going on in the bidders heads.....it does say COPY on it ,which should give them a bit of a clue

Indeed. Commemorating Prince George's fifth birthday? But there is no edge inscription. Something like "I can now spell cat" would be quite appropriate. And yes, £610 asking price is frightful.
