Today on the BBC- the commentator on the Ladies Curling said that during the tricky match our girls were in, they were "trying to be offensive".... Maybe it was the camera angles, but they looked quite nice......

Last week there was a great moment on the Beeb: Politics Today were interviewing the guy who'd just started a Remain Party. They were in the studio, he was on the pavement outside the building where his group were holding a press conference. Suddenly the presenter puts her hand to her earpiece and says "I'm just hearing that one of your supporters has walked out of the press conference. Is that true?" "Yes. That was me, so I could be interviewed by you."

Difficult one as the collar and crown are not especially clear. Looking at Bente & Withers, I'd say these are as good as any pellets demonstrated in the crowns they show - spearheads are much larger and angular, so what do you think? I know some pellets are large and very round but, equally, they are shown to be small too. The collar...some of the images show very squared off collars, and I'm guessing mine would run across the neck but for the weakness? So, to save me looking for a die match, what do we all think? The old collector ticket suggests 3b, not that I ever go by those.

It would appear that a certification service began with ANACS in 1972, but that actual slabbing did not start until PCGS commenced operations in 1986, and NGC followed in 1987. So you were spot on Peck. link Here's an original holder:-

I can't resist a farthing.I bought a contemporary farthing from an antiques seller who insisted it was regal. It wasn't but banged them down to £5.It is so sharp I have used it to scratch lottery tickets...won 1K a couple of years ago.Nothing since the biggest F/O Indian meal ensued and Anglia Water were put on overtime.

The following line underneath the description of the last item tells you all you need to know about this seller and his 'finds': Any rude insulting messages will not be tolerated or answered, but will be reported to eBay. Clearly, he gets plenty of 'advice' about the validity of his items for sale and doesn't take kindly to his 'honesty' being questioned.
