The one time we have had a listing removed recently was the duplicate Gold 1937 coin. When I reported this I used the "fraudulent listing" option rather than the "restricted items" route. When it is clear that the seller knows he is selling a scam I suggest we use that one - it may get more attention from Ebay.

There's a hell of a lot of Peck's list that resonates with me and also, the incredible Warren Zevon. Lawyers, Guns & Money is blasting through the house as I write. Roland will be next.

That's what I assumed. There wouldn't be any reason for Briot to cut a James I legend. The next bit doesn't make sense? Needing a drink I can relate to.

That's how I always report - fraudulent as in a copy / replica not described as such in the listing.

If ebay had a "like" button on that listing, I would use it lol

I've just read the thread and it reminded me of a similar coin weight I have. same design but smaller at 14mm/1.1gm as far as I can tell the legend reads: I.K.MLP 11

A bit later than that guys. This is a Charles I Angel coin-weight. I’m not sure but think it’s a Briot die . W962. And as Rob said ,price is from about £10-30

As I understand it, very limited numbers for use by Mr May himself on the tours. I believe some were given away to lucky members of the crowd and a few sold. This appears to be the rarest of all of the tour "sixpence" picks.

There are more varieties of 1858 than possibly all other copper pennies put together. It was all down to the delays involved introducing the bronze with which the Mint had major problems. So they used and reused the 1858s. Then the delays continued so they had the 1859, finally the very rare 1860 just before the bronzes were ready.
