Hi Jerry. Thank you for taking the time and the trouble to take a look. It's the advice and knowledge that yourself and the rest of the gang impart freely, that makes this hobby such a pleasure. I'll amend the listing accordingly. Cheers. Bob

... and with the title on this one from the same seller, we know why he won't ship to the UK! https://www.ebay.com/itm/Great-Britain-Farting-1841/332649094969?hash=item4d736e5f39:g:L6wAAOSw8W5aYo~V

I know marketing is a tough game, but the following phrase 'Spink 2017 values at £375 in UNC condition no value given for Choice UNC-BU' is drivel. Spink don't list a value for choice unc-BU because there is no column with said description against which to post a value, and in any case, one man's choice BU is another man's ok or even a dog. The world expends and wastes vast amounts of energy trying to polish turds. Cut it out and you could reduce global warming.

Only ships within the US. Phew. A somewhat rhetorical question, but why do so many descriptions contain both the phrases 'We are not experts, so don't ask any technical questions' and 'Choice Uncirculated' ? A description of British coin - denomination and date would be far more accurate.

Heck I am only just getting round to listing my own collection, let alone the spares! There are boxes of Pennies labelled up - one for pre-1911, the other for 1911 to 1967. There is another for Halfpennies, another for farthings, another for Threepences. There are trays of hammered and Roman, trays and boxes of assorted foreign. Quite a few shillings and some great 20th century florins and halfcrowns, but much lower volumes in the bigger stuff as that sell more easily at markets. Best is if you have an excuse to come down this way, let me know and we can arrange to meet outside the market days - that way we can explore the boxes and chat without the pressure of time or customers. I might even let you look at the collection!

Can I get a crystal ball please - that way I'd know if you had what I wanted before I left the house for a 2 hour drive (or pm me with a list )

with a whimsical undertone I found a line but it's on the right hand side of the lighthouse. I also found some strange defect at the top of the lighthouse making look like the outer stairwell they have that are always used for fight scenes in movies . Also a fingerish flaw? Perhaps from a person of restricted height And a lonely mouse swimming off to join the navy
