    They came up short on this occasion, but we have to stick with this manager and the nucleus of the team he has created. He's going places. Watch out for the Euros in 2020.

    It isn't English or Hiberno-Norse. Try somewhere in Scandinavia as I think it is an imitation that is a cross between an Ethelred Last Small Cross obverse and a Cnut Quatrefoil(?) reverse. I don't have any books on these.

    I've thought the same. Seems the silver is more springy as used on most Germans coins. The British coins are made from much softer silver. May be a way of remelting the Kufic coins?

    Yes - the one single criticism I have of this England team is that they create lots of chances but put too few of them away.
