A man walks across the road and gets flattened by a yellow lorry, then a red lorry, then a yellow lorry and then a red lorry. Policeman goes to his home, knocks the door and the man’s wife answers it. The policeman looks at her and says, "Im sorry but there's no easy way to say this"

Being an ex-computer engineer I always found these Shoe cartoons amusing. So I saved a few over the years.

He could say “you’re going to boil me alive” ; that would provide the chief with an unresolvable conundrum. Jerry

Staying sober. Pretending I haven't seen this Midsummer Murder before. Not eating yet another packet of crisps. These are real daily challenges.

I always check on my video system in the big workshop what's on that channel. I recorded off that channel a 10 minute wartime public information film on how to deal with incendiary bombs that fall through your roof. Very interesting- made much more so for me, since it starred Will Hay!!!

Given the number of ships noted and the ability to count the number of dies used per ship type, it should be possible to work out a fairly close estimate of the number of dies employed in total and the number of coins made per die pair. At one ounce of copper per penny, that's 35840 penny equivalents per ton of copper and a shedload of dies. Let's test the dedication of some of you penny collectors to destruction.

Have you got "Talking Pictures TV"? - many many old British films, and TV series, including comedy's.

A very valid point. Interestingly enough though, I have no recollection of any presentation, in any variation, of this conundrum that I have seen wherein that stipulation is made. It appears that the assumption is that truth and lies are absolutes and any specific knowledge is irrelevant...

😂 I agree, as they say Paddy, one man’s noise is another man’s music.

Good luck ! I can't find one of the brass ones in nice grade; my collection of these is in a similar state to Will's; don't have the "RRR" one or the silver/gilt specimen listed. Did pick up the following unlisted gilt prooflike piece recently though:
