Not totally acurate while egyptians who built pyramids were not paid egyptians never used money so it would have been impossable for them to stash their wealth away in pensions ISAS or just good old fashioned cash , they were in fact queueing to do these jobs as they recieved great housing and extra food and drink .
The romans actually introduced cash to egypt and that is when the real rot/fraud and coruption started , a change in the weather in egypt never helped as well.
