In a convent in Ireland, the 98-year-old Mother Superior lay dying. The Nuns gathered around her bed trying to make her last journey comfortable. They tried giving her warm milk to drink but she refused it. One of the Nuns took the glass back to the kitchen. Then, remembering a bottle of Irish Whiskey that had been received as a gift the previous Christmas, she opened it and poured a generous amount into the warm milk. Back at Mother Superior's bed, they held the glass to her lips. The frail Mother Superior drank a little, then a little more and before they knew it, she had finished the whole glass down to the last drop. As her eyes brightened, the Nuns thought it would be a good opportunity to have one last talk with their spiritual leader. "Mother..." the Nuns asked earnestly "please give us some of your wisdom before you leave us". Mother Superior raised herself up in bed on one elbow, looked at them and said "DON'T SELL THAT COW"

This microchip business is utter tripe. I can't believe that anybody could so stupid as to lend it the remotest credence. Microchips are implanted with specific info contained therein, that can be read with a scanner - as with a cat - they're implanted just under the skin in the same place where they can easily be read. Also the size of them means they couldn't get into a hypodermic syringe in the the first place, let alone get out of it. If anybody did create a chip that could be activated remotely, or routinely transmit information, they'd make a fortune from cat owners.

Yes, the monthly became a fortnightly for a couple of years - these were all regular issues so there was no 'monthly' for that period.

I have just had a short talk with an 85 year old who seem to have a head that believe conspiracy theorys . She told me with a straight face that she would not be having any injections because they were full of microchips that would be activated once in her body and produce heart attacks and strokes . Why the goverment would want to rule over a nation of invalids all claiming welfare payments she did not answer ., maybe they plan to import the entire nation of poland to look after the stoke- heart atack victims in order to reduce polish unemployment - this would leave poland for the germans - they always wanted it anyway

If you thought Tier 4 is bad, Tier 5, which comes into force on Tuesday, will have anyone over the age of 50 spending Christmas with my Mother-in-law. I knew it would end in Tiers. I can only apologise. It's been a difficult week. Wot with me back and the weather and that and now the Covid Crap I'm past caring. Nothing down here. No really. Why are you still looking? Ooh Matron!

Late in the night he regained consciousness. He found himself in agonising pain in the hospital's ICU, with tubes up his nose, wires monitoring every function and a gorgeous nurse hovering over him. He realised he'd obviously been in a serious accident. She gave him a deep look straight into the eyes, and he heard her slowly say "You may not feel anything from the waist down". Somehow, he managed to mumble in reply "Can I feel your boobs, then?" That, my friends, is a positive attitude!
