    I'd rate the second maybe VF or GVF at the most? However, being 1917, it's probably only had the circulation of an EF coin. It's the brown marks that put me right off it.

    has now been relisted https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254912685349?ViewItem=&item=254912685349 still ignoring our requests for the names of his team of experts, and a pic of the coin edge, but still offering: "feel free toemail me with any questions". Maybe not using toemail was our mistake?

    "Pound to a penny" ... yes. Compare the coin market in 1971, and in 1985, and other times too I'm sure. Then think of property in the early 90s, and shares at various different times. Gold in the late 90s. Nothing ever keeps going up.
