One reason early circulating coins are becoming rarer is the Coin Reclamation program from the mint. https://www.royalmint.com/corporate/circulating-coin/coin-reclamation/ They partnered with Vaultex to remove 65% of the circulating CuNi coins over three years. See their video here:

Hi all. Thank you for the many opinions. Definitely not a 13#. I can identify that at a glance, but interesting to see everyone's identifiers. Another pointer, is that the second I of Victoria has been rotated slightly clockwise, so appears more upright. I didn't post the reverse because I didn't want it to influence the obverse identification. I was thinking F322A but opinions so far make me think I'm wrong. Agreed. The coin in hand, when received, will tell all.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/255221659808?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 The listing has been ended due to "an error in the listing" 😏 What, only the one?! Any bets as to how long it will be before it gets relisted along with some more cock and bull ?!

What is 13* and its reference? Not Mal Lewenden's 13# ?? (Now 2 known, I understand). The latter has the two Ts of BRITT touching. For me this is obverse 11, but willing to stand corrected with further info on 13*... I agree that the reverse and date would be good to see to help tie it down!

There's another article by Dracott in the November 2021 edition of Coin News, which includes some new halfpenny varieties discovered. Thought it might be of interest to those who haven't yet seen it, so took a screenshot of the intro and the part relating to halfpennies. I had to expand the article to read it, and even after compression the two parts still take up three posts.

Well, the £8000 bidder even left a nonsensical feedback.
