When I was in holiday in Prague last year, I really liked the 50 Korun coin which is bimetallic (Copper and brass) with attractive obverse and reverse. The photos below are from Numista. Which designs of foreign coins do you like best?

I had a half litre of acetone delivered successfully a year or two ago from Ebay.

Still in circulation is a tough one - I like Australia and New Zealand's at least, although they've been unchanged for close to 60 years.

Vendors on Ebay will ship most chemicals that aren't subject to legal restrictions. If they're dangerous they will come packed in a plastic bag full of activated charcoal.

:Once again, I have to point out that although the BBC gets most or all of the licence fee, it is not something that enshrines the BBC - IT'S A GOVERNMENT TAX THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY in order to watch ANY TV, whether it be BBC, ITV, cable, satellite, or whatever. Do you REALLY think that if the BBC went out of existence (as Daily Mail readers secretly wish) the government would stop making us pay a licence fee? Please folks, come back down to earth and get real.

A lovely coin, but you could never expect FDC with hairlines, surely?

I really don’t think submersion is necessary. On anything but proof coins, a gentle ‘mop’ over the surface with a saturated Q-tip will do! Sacrilege I know, but it works, and even on the finest fields, reflected under natural AND artificial light, you’ll perceive no difference…dig out your 1967 pennies and see for yourself. The one thing I would say, however, and I shared it on here a long time ago…never re-dip your bud into the acetone, otherwise, by the end of the bottle, you’ll be layering more junk onto the coin than you’re taking off!

Like London buses, you wait ages for one and then two come along at once.

The distribution isn't skewed as far as I'm aware.

Yes I think you are correct MrT just took some better pictures in natural light, possibly a die crack starting from the first A going through the T and ending on the last A.
