Just come across this story. Believed to have 11m gold and silver coins and a cargo which could be worth billions. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/dec/21/san-jose-shipwreck-recovery-treasure-colombia-spain

What a beauty. Funnily enough I got a nice one from Baldwins a couple of months ago, but this is superb.

I personally stopped wasting my time messaging eBay a long, long, time ago! I treat it now for what it is, its own little mini government, and all the flaws that come with being that!

At that point you keep your mouth shut and bid strong. They do have staff - just the wrong sort.

Ebay seem to be getting a little lost with their reporting . I saw a seller the other day selling an 1882 penny no H and an 1850 shilling. All shilling fakes from china have a flaw on the right ride of the acorn wreath half way up ..the copies are quite good and when you get them they obviously are not silver... however I had a message saying that the report had been checked by an AI investigative tool and found "not be in violation of the listing policy " rather silly really because if they could grasp that these flaws exist they could learn by experiences when something looks like a fake it usually is one ...the audacity !!!!LOL that the machine new better than MEMEME !!!!!LOL Merry Christmas everyone
