    Seems logical - they get rid of all the shrapnel with out having to lug them to the bank themselves.

    I believe freeman had a deal with a local bus station in the sixties were he bought them all at face value , then went through them and took to the bank himself.

    1970 was a lithographic edition of the 1964 book. Better quality print and paper, but the same contents. There is also Peck's addendum in the 1967 BNJ.
