    I'm afraid that I didn't spot it. I picked up the attribution from a shilling collector on Facebook. I managed to win one 'want,' and then noticed that the 1671 plumes shilling wasn't bid on, so I snaffled it just in time. Later on, I found a couple of other varieties of Victorian shillings were not bid on, so I got those for well under the expected price. All round, I'm pretty pleased.

    Nice buy on that Paddy - I think some of the scarcer coins not in top condition went for chips....I'd like to have seen a few of these in person but London/Mayfair is a bit of a stretch from here in Maryland. I want to see the "True View" at PCGS of the 1838 "No WW".

    I was bidding online too. I picked up 4 lots, which must mean the prices were not as strong as usual. I got the 1863 as an upgrade, but not the 1863/1. I will post pics once I have them in hand.
