I am useless on a computer but this is by far the easiest one i have used. If you want to crop the picture first ,click crop ,edit size and download. If you just want to just share the picture just click on re size image and type in 800 in the very left hand box ,then download. Only takes seconds once you have done the first couple. https://imageresizer.com/

You didn't ask for it, but grading by the pictures I [sort of] would say this: I don't see a lot of hairlines but even a bit of angling to the light may reveal such. They can be VERY hard on those. Assuming none other that what is seen, that bit passes muster for lower mint state coins but the friction along the neck and base of bust might lever it down just a bit. I would be tempted to put it in the 61-62 category....The reverse is fairly nice with a bit of softness at bottom of crown at shield.

    That's not a smile - it's a smirk!

An early, proof-like strike still deserves a premium though. Indeed, it may be more scarce than a genuine proof. So I don’t steer completely clear.

No problem Mike, glad to help. It's always difficult deciding to part with one of your nicest pieces, but when you sell to someone who you know will cherish it then that always makes it much easier. I am constantly under pressure to sell my collection rather than leave it one day to those who will not understand..........and probably sell for a fraction of what they are worth!!😨

Private sale agreed with Ian for this very nice aUNC F78. Now arrived. I must emphasise how (along with quite a few others, none of which have ever been thought of as notably rare) difficult this variety is to obtain almost in any grade, let alone this nice high grade. Thanks a lot Ian. Much appreciated. I might otherwise have been waiting a very very long time.

The 1841 "proof" could start an interesting discussion between the buyer and Noonan's. I'm pretty sure from the photos that it's not a proof but where does a buyer stand when it's been graded by a reputable TPG as a Proof ?

So what happens on Facebook when you are discussing Negro's Head marked coins? Anyone young and brought up in today's PC world might acquire a ticket with NH in the future and not be able to ask the question and get an answer to what it means without being blocked. People need to stop being offended on behalf of others, who, if they have half a brain will recognise that the offence is caused by context, and not just the use of any particular word(s). Science is going to suffer too. Stefan's Law will have to be explained in some other way, so good luck with that one.

If you went to a restaurant and got refused entry, you wouldn't go back a second time. So why use Facebook if it is policed by a robot you can't discuss problems with? The internet is littered with 'Scunthorpe' problems and analogues thereof.
