aint found any hammered for a bit, found this though a couple of weeks ago, head of a tudor pin, silver gilt, filigree, have gridded the are but not found the missing pin

found this nice welsh cut half of Rhuddlan Mint back end of spring this year, , retrograde N and the 5 3 1 pellet crown configuration gives it away, moneyer is Simond

what would this grade as in peoples opinions ? is it natural colour or cleaned, hopefully you can work out what are scratches on the case and not the coin

so there is such a fine line between the grades, the busts on george V aren't that great at the best of times, i can see the slight differences, just knowing what the starting point is

just a variation in the plating i guess, its certainly not a fake

lots of mystery surrounds these cupro nickle issues, proof, vip, specimen, satin etc -
never found a nice condition one detecting although i have seen some in amazing condition from the soil
