  1. She leaves a huge void, I miss her. RIP
  2. What do his T&C’s say? Depending on the company’s terms and conditions, you’ll have legal rights (and a contract) either: - once you’ve paid for the item (consideration) - once they’ve sent it to you If you don’t have a contract and someone realises they’ve told you the wrong price, they can cancel your order. If you had paid via the website at the requested price and their T&Cs stated that ownership is transferred upon payment then I think you might have had a good case.

Senseless. Could be down to a lack of maintenance or poor design. Hospitals should be fitted with Human impact-resistant windows. Could have saved his life.😬

    Ebay's Worst Offerings

He very likely plagiarised part of Baldwins description unaware that “as struck” described the grade. Superb😂 https://www.baldwin.co.uk/product/1839-proof-penny-about-as-struck/#tab-description

    Ebay's Worst Offerings

beside the fact that it tells that he’s a right 🎩 , his MO intrigues me. He uses the correct pcgs number and description but with bar codes from different slabs, cheap ones probably. Why not use the matching number and bar code? lot of effort for what 🤔
  7. I also alerted them and I received a prompt and courteous reply. They were probably inundated with emails😂

    DNW changing names.....?

I appreciated the look and feel of their old site and Mike, you’re spot on about the search. This site is a step backwards, all pretty wishy washy to me. I dont like it at all.

    Coin Reverse Orientation

Good question Blake, I had never thought about it. Perhaps due to the solemn nature of the award, the reverse may be intended to be viewed by the owner and not by a curious bystander. When he lifts the medal when being worn, the orientation will be good for him and the ribbon provides slack to do so. He turns it inwards instead of outwards. I also think that using a pivoting mount would result in an occasionally reversed medal on the parade ground. It would be interesting to know the generally accepted reason.
  16. I think theres a Hungerford chapter
