    Round Pounds

Nice set, i unfortunately didn't have the cash to go with the foresight when these were at a reasonable price. Given all the recent media hype, I can imagine these will probably do remarkably well now
  2. Referalls in the interweb insdustry are "where was that person when they clicked a link" .. google normally features very highly on the reports these days, but back when the internet was new MSN or Yahoo etc also had a good showing. I guess facebook is now looged as they're starting to have a lot more sponsored ads, so traffic referalls will be monitored, as once they get figures they can convince other advertisers/businesses to spend $$ on FB sponsered ads. Probably a whole lot more mundane than you needed to read, but this would indeed be a result of what mrbadexample describes.

simples ... google "Gimp how to use layers" and then "gimp how to change opacity in layers" . 2 sets of easy to follow steps, and hurrah, you are now an image editing god!

You need something that will allow you to use layers, so that you can set the opacity of the top layer such that it will show through the detail of the base layer. Paint shop pro will but that will cost you for the privilege. GIMP is free and is fully featured, so if you only want to play, this is probably the best freebie going. It also seems to be very well documented. https://www.gimp.org/downloads/

Seems like as good a place as any..

Well, everything it would seem I have Roman all the way to Beatrix potter with some commemoratives too. And I'm multicultural - Aus, NZ, USA, China (++).... I don't deliberately do it though, I just seem to "accumulate" - I'd prefer not to, but that's the way it seems to be going.

To say Hello, I've been a lurker for a while and have finally found the courage to admit that I have a problem with money I like collecting it ... well some largely unspendable versions anyway. So thank you all for the knowledge I have gained from being a lurker, I will try to add something to this wonderful forum now that I have finally joined! Kev
