I'm not sure but think its Henry III short cross Nichole on Lund. Now I'm not sure how to class coins. but I think it's class 7b as this looks like coin number 1356B in Coins of England, but what is confusing for the class 7b it says ..Letter A with square top, M appears as H, now in the legend there is no A or M. how does this work ? thanks for any help.
-
Yes spinks 2010 coins of England, I will have a look for the more affordable one thanks very much.

I think Edward III possibly pre-treaty 1351-77 Groat of London 4.3 g. I don't know what class to put it in. thanks for any help.

Thanks Rob. Yes I would go with you on the free drink, or maybe handing them out in the street for a free sample in the shop.

Still trying to get some good pictures, how do you guys take clear close ups ? I have a canon sx500 is, is this no good for close ups? thanks for any help.

Any information on this coin would be much appreciated. A very nice Charles l double crown I have. I have been told that the reverse die is the same as number 200 in the famous Schneider collection but the obverse has the mintmark in a different place. Could this be an over mark ? Would this be quite a rare double crown with the overmarks and its condition ?

I have searched for 19th century tokens but cant find it. I was wondering if it was a love token of some kind, as having so much wear. its as thin as a worn hammered penny.
-
Thanks guys for the replies, I thought it may have been the top of a riding crop or walking stick, but the rev does have some sort of design on it, not clear on a scan. There is a branch or leaves to the rim of the coin/token on rev.

Can I see a face or a ship?
