    Profit

Once I bought a 1876 EF half crown for £63 and sold it for £95

Full set 8 Italian Euro for bid

How much do they go for and if possible, could you tell me their mintage?
  5. I would have to agree with the Edward VII investments they are attractive due to their low mintage and high demand in better grades. I would also reccoment Wreath Crowns in UNC as a superb investment.

Full set 8 Italian Euro for bid

I recieved an e-mail through one of my other forums. They are a pile of rubbish.
  7. I would invest in Victorian-George VI silver, copper, and bronze as they appreciate a lot in value. (Much more than the stock market can guarantee). If you do decide to invest in coins, Gold bullion would perhaps increase the slowest compared to other coins which are in much higher demand.

Yes it must be working on a 24hr basis, because it seems very odd to me sometimes.

    Edward VIII

    Agreed!
  11. Hi everyone, I'm just curious if any Edward VIII sets have ever come up for sale? Also, in your opinion, how much would one sell for if it came onto the open market today? Finally, do any of you know if any sets exist and if so where are they?
  12. What would happen if we said a swearword in a different context?

    Your dream coin?

If you have £35,000 spare, you can always but one from Spink! Its a unique Matt proof.
  14. There are also others to name a few: 1. Wide rim. 2. Calm sea and choppy sea (George VI halfpenny). 3. Crosses and letters pointing to beads (Emperor Oli will be the expert)

If it came up for sale today, it would make much more than that.

    8 Reale

I would agree, GVF/VF. Can I ask if the shine is due to a camera flash or polishing?

    Grading

Correct, also, if a coin had full lustre, then you would need to grade it carefully because the lustre can sometimes be decieving.
