How do you store your coins?

I have decided to expand my collection to 1970 so that will fill up six trays! After that I will probably move into victorian farthings or victorian halfpennies (copper). I also have one 50mm tray so I might be ambitious and fill that with wreaths!

How do you store your coins?

I finally got my cabinet today! The delay was caused by the construction of two monster cabinets for a museum. It looks brilliant! The sheen is beautiful, I would reccomend that every collector shell out a bit of money just to get one, I cannot commend them any higher!
  7. In this month's coin news, it features the story of a collector who, when he was an 11 year old boy, got an Edward VIII brass 3d in his change! He recalls thinking to himself that he had never seen one before when he saw it for the first time! He did the worst thing he could have done......he spent it at the sweet shop! I wish I could get one in my change!
  8. It hasn't sold yet though JMD.
  9. It could have been a hammered coin............
  10. Which coin would this be.........if it was a new coin, the numismatic community would have been informed surely. It would have definately been very famous if it sold for that much.

    Uncirculated Coins

Sometimes, UNC coins show signs of wear such as cabinet friction or an edge knock. Even though they would have not been in circulation, we have to assume that they are EF or AUNC because we do not know the history of the coin.

Stop using the smilie with every post JMD, it is very annoying primarily because people think that you are being sarcastic all the time.
