    50P commemarative

I have not yet found a 4-Minute mile one. I have NHS, Public Libraries, EU, Suffragettes and the 1973 EEC ones. I have all commem £2's after 1997, I am not really interested in the peace dove or the other one prior to 1997 as I would have to pay (all my decimal coins have been accumulated in my spare change).

    Ebay

I do use Ebay sometimes, but it is quite hard to locate BU farthings on Ebay.

    Newsletter No.10

That 1754 NVF Very rare 4 over 0 variety farthing (here) is tempting...note: you have written it as 'Very Rare 5 over 0 variety', I assume you mean 4 not 5?...
  5. I don't think that there are any varieties for 1916 pennies.

Total = 10. Tokens: 1817 Princess Charlotte Commemorative. Total = 1. Overall total = 60. (Note: There are a few more including a lot of decimals, but I thought that this list would be long enough)
  7. Nothing has really changed that much from Spink 2004 to Spink 2005. The prices have only varied by about £5 each down or up, so I would also suggest that you save your money for now.

    Decimal Coins

Since the time when I started putting decimal coins into my collection, I have never seen a 1995 penny, a 1986 £ or a 1992 20p, whereas I have seen many coins of different dates. I have looked for mintage figures, but the Royal Mints website is down at the moment. Are these coins scarce/rare?
  10. What you have is most probably a normal 1899 penny that has, at some stage after minting, been covered in some form of gold coating to resemble a gold penny.

    Oli...

    Thanks

    Oli...

I haven't finished them yet. I have most of the farthings priced, and the halfpenny prices are starting to come together. Whilst we are on the subject of CEMCGB, does anyone know the prices of 1672 A/B and 1673 O/O? I have looked in spink for an idea, but the first is not listed and the second jsut says 'extremely rare'...

    Oli...

----- When do the prices have to be 'handed in'?
  14. Master Jmd

    Now there's a turn up

That is good news, there are quite a lot of varieties not listed in CCGB2005, so I think it will be more than tripple if we include most of them. Decimal varieties sound interesting, I bet there are quite a few... Good competition for Spink ay ...

    "JEW PENNY" GERMAN STATES?

Sounds like a token to me...that is why you did not find it in Krause (or does Krause list tokes?)...
