it would depend on a) their grade, and 2) Their type (for the victorian pennies).

I did not personally hear the GWB speach, but from what you said, chris, it really makes Mr.Bush sound like a complete idiot (probably why britain and america are allies ). But from what I have heard from other people, Mr.Reagan, Mrs.Thatcher and Mr.Gorbechev (sp?) were the strongest leaders in history; Reagan gained support from all states bar-one, Thatcher was one of the best leaders (especially for a woman ), not sure about Gorbechev but i am sure he was a good leader too.

Mine or William's
Master Jmd replied to Emperor Oli's topic in British Coin Related Discussions & Enquiries
I was not implying that "Ooh it's foreign muck", I just dont really like many foreign coins. There are some foreign coins that take my fancy; Ducats or Half Dolars sometimes look lovely, but unfortunately most foreign coins do not take my fancy, and your one was one of them for the following reasons: I do not like the hair that dangles from the back of napoleon's head onto the nape. The fact that it says Empereur on one side, and Empire on the other - too much enphisis towards napoleon. The way that the engraver's name (BARRE) falls into the main coin lettering (Napoleon III Empereur) - I like the engravers name to be directly under the effigy; like English coinage. The mintmark (A), if it is a mintmark, is also not where i like it, it stands out too much. ...sorry that i did not like your coin ...i like williams coin because: Victoria's protrait fits in with the edge of the coin. St. George and the Dragon design on the reverse seems to fit perfectly with both sides; not nessessarily in the centre of the coin, but it fits with the size. ... so -

Value of a 1875/2 H farthing...
Master Jmd replied to Master Jmd's topic in British Coin Related Discussions & Enquiries
Sorry to post three times after each post, but; In the Collectors Coins 2004 book, it lists: 1875 H REG 1875/2 H 1875 H RF.G is the 1875/2 H only with REG? because my coin is a 1875/2 H RF.G, and i think that the book should be changed so that it says; 1875 H REG, 1875 H RF.G and 1875/2 H, otherwist it is confusing! -

is a 1875/2 H farthing rare?...i am not into grading older coins, but it has about 70% lustre on both sides with full detail (EF/GEF/Unc, not sure), what is its value? -
This is it! Believe me Jmd what I do everyday in the 'coin industry'.... compiling the book, boxing up accessory orders or books, or coins, updating the websites, keeping check on you lot, answering emails, sending cheques, moving money around and many other tasks, I wouldn't have time to do anything else even if I wanted to! I am a professional coin dealer, and that is all I do (if you include the book this with that, as it's related). There are very few people that can say that is all they do, but I'm one of them. Well done chris hope you stay well in buisiness

other then coin dealing, what do you do for a living chris?

does this mean that (as i have said before) : if one posts in 'A' and then posts in 'B', can one go back and edit 'A'?
-
some of the victorian coins say 19-- instead of 18-- (page 6 - 1975/2 H farthing instead of 1875 )
