are there any modern coins (1p - £2) that have a rarer value? (eg: open '3' 1903 penny, is there a open '3' modern coin...ect...)
-
looks tempting, but i am not really into american money...if you could find some nice maundy sets then i would probably buy one of them... the nearest thing i have to a half dollar is a quater of the 1950's...

I was the winning bidder on ebay for a 1970 proof set, it has just arrived and i was wondered how can i open it without breaking the case...i would like to add the bronze coins (1970: farthing, half penny and penny) to my collection of bronze coins, and i would just like to know how i could open the set without damage...can you help?

I don't mind showing him a pic of me... This is another reason why i avoid these things. Rest assured i won't be putting one up, ever. yes, me too. also, (no offence to chris) if we do see chris then we may be disapointed because he is not what we expected. i think we should be allowed our privacy in these matters. posting a picture anywhere on the web can be dangerous, and it is possible for othe people to track down people from the photo. i am staying private, as should anyone elce with any brain cells.

were 1953 coins only issued in 'sets'? i have a nice 1953 penny, but the only grading in spink is for the 1953 penny only issued in sets...

it is just that there is a Korean wilhelm in my year at school and he clames that his name is fully Korean, not German...maybe he is wrong... -
1970 proof set...
Master Jmd replied to Master Jmd's topic in British Coin Related Discussions & Enquiries
i did not buy it for the bronze, no, but i would like the bronze with my other bronze coins...i will obviously not get rid of the set in any way, as i would like to own a few of the sets of coins by the royal mint. i do not have a modern set (yet), so i cannot tell you if they are much different, and i do not want to try and take the set apart unless i know how... -

No, I'm afraid I don't have anymore tucked away. I've had a good few Triumphs in my time though. I think the red one at the top was No. 14 when purchased almost a year ago. I was averaging a different Triumph every 8 months at one stage! Eat, sleep breathe 'em. have you ever had a triumph spitfire, i love those, i have only ever seen one... -
Do you have an extremely rare coin?
