    Was this a good buy?

i am not going to buy a scanner for one coin!
  10. i certainly would not pay £350.00 for it, this is mostly because of its age; its only 53 years old, if it was about 100 years old then maybe!

  12. well, would you bid for it at £350.00; NO!!!

    Was this a good buy?

it is worn, yes, i do not favour it...it does have about: 20% lustre around the coin's reverce and about 5% on the obverse, the rim has full lustre (well, not like a Bunc coins lustre)...my favourite farthing (not lustreous) is a 1828 one, with all details clearly visable...

    Was this a good buy?

I am more into pennies, but i thought that i would go for this seeing as it has the 3 crowns that i dont have, and a nice set of 1953 coins...i do not only collect pennies, i also have about 80 lustorious farthings from 1806 onwards, and about 50 lustorious halfpennies... the seller said around 40 of them are unc...

    1926 florin

    New 2 Pence

... looks like it has been through the holocaust ...i would say it would be nice if it was 1756 rather then 1956...but still...i like the blue toning, and i love the toning found on pennies.
