    Damn guys!

Welcome Berg, as Chris said, its about time some foreigners joined ... I hope you find the forum and predecimal.com an interesting resource to coin collecting and collecting accessories. Well, I'm Master Jmd, and I collect farthings 1613-1956 (as my signature suggests).

From the second picture, the edge inscription looks ok though...but yes, the other points are convinsing.

    17th Century English Tokens

Very nice, especially that 1668 His Halfe Peny. One small typo I noticed: in the description of the 1668 His Halfe Peny it says Pursell/Pursell, you need to replace an 's' with a 'c'

    Nederlands Banknote

I have asked on coinpeople now
  7. Ok, I know this is a coin forum, but I think that someone on here will know a thing or two about banknotes. Question: Can anyone tell me what this actually is and other information about this note? Side 1 Side 2 Date Close-up Side 1 reads: DE NEDERLANDS BANK, below that is Betaalt Aan Toonder VIJF EN TWINTIG GULDEN, with a 25G below that (25 Gulden?). Bottom has the signature of what looks like 'Rahunty'(?) with Director below that, and beside it is signed ? President. The letters DNB are to the left of the note (presumably De Nederlands Bank(?)). Side 2 reads: 1AD with the serial number of 096678 and dated Amsterdam 7 Oct. 1943. The note is very delicate, and I do not want to try and unfold the creased edges as the note may tare. The only history that I know behind it is that my Grandad picked it up from a tea shop/café in Holland or Belgium.

    US State quarters

Lucky you, having a 6 week holiday! It would be nice, in my opinion, if we Brits had something like that; pennies from SE, S, SW, M, N, NE and NW...
  10. I have been waiting for the chance to post that one after seeing his signature on coinpeople a while ago

Money, Genuine One Pound Coin And I quote: " Although I have no actual evidence that this was the actual coin used by Prince Charles to put the deposit down on Camillas new engagement ring, it has got a picture of his mum on the back! ( a bit of a give away don't you think?) " ...and its recieved a bid...!

Good luck to whom ever you choose
