I am not so certain how much credence should be given to Chard's write-up on the 1954 penny. It appears that they have simply copied their write-up on the 1933 penny and changed the date to 1954. http://24carat.co.uk/frame.php?url=1933penny.html In fact if you look at the entire write-up on the 1954 you will still see a few places where they forgot to change the date.

A penny (reverse only) for your thoughts (from 7jaguars).... I cannot recall if he told me this was a "show and tell" or a "giveaway", but I am fairly certain it was one or the other.

The Enigmatic Andy Scott, Or, Who Is This Masked Penny Collector?

Bernie -- VS was referring to Gerald instead of Harold as being the correct first name of the fellow whose collection Spink USA sold at auction just over a year ago. -

I wonder if this is the halfpenny-size double-headed piece that 7jaguars once indicated was likely a game counter. http://www.predecimal.com/forum/topic/8063-george-v-double-headed-coinmedal/

All best wishes to your better half for a speedy recovery.

Nice coins all.

I am relieved to see that there was not much if anything in the way of milled copper/bronze on that list. Others have mentioned that they were only able to find one coin on the list of any interest to them as collectors. If these are the coins that this investment group is pursuing I'm not so certain we have anything to fear.
