  1. OMG. Who are these sad people who don't seem to realise that a lip job is INSTANTLY so very very obvious?

    DNW Sale Today 7/9/21

Exactly my thoughts when I got the UNC 1930 HC earlier this year - possibly paid top whack or higher but to complete that series with the hardest date was worth it for me.

Wow, that makes mine something to be reappraised! Mind you, there's probably a gulf between these that are 90% and the ones that are 95% +

    Help With Denarius Identification

Probably declared their imperium stolen from them and got the mob to march on the Senate building!!

    Ebay's Worst Offerings

I'll try and remember that in future.

It wasn't me, but I'd have also believed it to be 1853.
  9. Surely not true? You get your cash via either an ATM or via cashback - neither of which are anonymous.
  10. Contactless is a private transaction between you and your bank (and the retailer, but their receipt and the record of purchase is not affected by the method of payment). Banks are increasingly paranoid about ensuring it's really you who is logging in, so HMRC cannot track your money or 'oversee' it.
  11. I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for an open 3 in that condition

    R.I.P. Don Everly

I'd take issue with him having Jagger and not Richards in his "Big 3" !!

That whole album is one of the classic rock albums.

    Now you're talking!
  15. Don Everley is before my time, but the Maestro of Reggae Lee Perry was today reported to have died. Sad news.
  16. He was a Jamaican producer (Bob Marley and The Upsetters among many others) but also did his own stuff. Undoubtedly one of music's greatest eccentrics! https://www.theguardian.com/music/2021/aug/30/lee-scratch-perry-10-of-his-greatest-recordings
  17. "choose files" now works for me, but I don't see any picture previews on the dialogue - however clicking the Open button does result in the picture getting uploaded.
  18. Trying again... Interesting. The dialogue still doesn't show any picture previews (just the revolving "I'm doing something you fool!" gear wheel) - but I clicked the Open button and it uploaded the picture here. Guess I'll have to get used to this quirky behaviour...
  19. Could well be. I just clicked "choose files" and can browse through folders, but when I get to an individual picture for upload, I just get the revolving gearwheel. Has anyone uploaded a picture today?

I remember that us kids used to generally prefer one over the other, but there was no hard and fast rule - it was perfectly acceptable to like both!

    Slabbing

I don't know if Legacy Chromium is available for Windows? If so, that might work.

He has changed his mind about Brown Sugar - he has said for quite a number of years that he'd never write a song with those lyrics again. Still a great track though! And this year is the 50th anniv of Sticky Fingers (my favourite Stones album).

Very sad. My era. I knew a Stone would have to die sometime, but I didn't think we would wait until 2021 for it to happen.

Bit before my time. The Beatles awoke my own interest in pop music.
