1692 William and Mary Scottish 10 shillings Quite a rare coin with Numista rarity of 100 -
Hi Looking for info on this wreath crown please. I noticed the strike on the 9 is very weak and the B and T in Brittania are both broken which I found unusual.
-
Just got back to me with weight...not on the scales so he can say anything really, but 28.2 grams it weighs.
-
Awaiting the weight of it from the owner of the coin. Will update when or if I get it from him guys 👍
-
Hi Can any of you guys tell me if this Queen Victoria gothic crown is genuine please? Weighs 28 grams. Thank you.

Good definition and lustre gosh take my eyes out 😆 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1799-George-III-Farthing-Rare-Good-Lustre-Definition-/115239255627?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0

Are error shillings with 2 x S in GVLIELMVS and possibly 2nd A over V rare?
-
Can any of you guys tell me if this is real please? The bidding seems a bit on the low side just now at about £51. Thank you. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1763-Northumberland-Shilling-/275059359615?mkcid=16&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0&redirect=mobile

Got her down a bit more to 450, little does she know I am putting in an offer of £4.50 😁
-
Haha her dad says she would accept the 500 I offered 😆
-
Recent ebay purchase. 5.85g Looks all wrong from smooth edge, strange looking rims and casting flaws, not to mention the 17 is missing.
-
Thanks Rob for getting back to me. Yes your quite correct, I can see now under a loupe that the edge has a faint diagonal milled edge all the way round and the filing down would be why it is a wee bit underweight. No sign of it being mounted on the edge although it could have been in one of them mounts that doesn't damage the coin, so as you mentioned filed down so it would fit and hence it having a shiny smooth looking appearance in hand. Thank you

Would i be right in saying that this halfcrown that just sold on ebay, as well as not being Roman or a shilling, is in fact a fake? https://www.ebay.com/itm/154393540815
-
Yes I noticed that as well Diaconis. Lined up with other coins of that year it just looks odd.
-
Can any of you guys advise me if this coin is real or fake please? Everything seems ok with it regarding weight and dimensions, but it has what looks like white stuff on it on the bottom of reverse. Thank you.
-
Hi Could this be a D over U in FD? Thank you.
-
I received this in a joblot. Weight 6 grams and 23.5mm dimension. What would cause this mark on it? Thank you.
-
Another Queen Victoria query. Can anyone tell me how this would happen on the head side please? Gives her a look like her hair has escaped from her her hairband 🙄
-
Cheers guys, its a pity otherwise it's a nice enough coin.
-
Thanks again Rob
-
Any idea if this is an E under G in REG on this 1864 Queen Victoria shilling? Thank you.
-
Thanks guys, just that it looked a little unusual and always better to ask just in case.

Heres an old penny with only three numbers showing in the date. Blocked die?
