It sounds like something's become corrupted. What I would say is don't format it just yet. Perhaps try it on a different OS, maybe even a Mac if you can. If that doesn't work then I'd recommend trying a recovery program, something like this. Best of luck with this, Azda!

Yeah, OK, I'm only boasting really but ..

Imperial is at number 14 in the 2012 table... whereas Durham is at number 3 followed by LSE and Bath. Not that it generally matters as these league tables differ vastly from one to another across the publishers and each one takes into account different things. Best of luck with your daughter's interview! -

What do you think about Durham? The Sunday Times league table ranks it at #3 and catching up quick to Oxbridge! -

I hear you, Richard. I'd love one of those in my collection. -
It's clear that this is a 17th century imitation of the coinage of the future.

Number 4 probably isn't as pricey as you would think - well, not as pricey as the other four. -

HistoricCoinage replied to Colin G.'s topic in Nothing whatsoever to do with coins area!
Thank you ever so much, Colin! Your wishes and donation are much appreciated. I would also like to thank all of those who have donated, your money really is going to a good cause as it will provide much needed funds for Save the Children and all of the valuable work that they do. All the best! Kindest Regards, Clive. -

British Trade Dollar
HistoricCoinage replied to coinquest's topic in British Coin Related Discussions & Enquiries
Your pictures are very pixelated to see anything on it, i think you have böown a very small picture to the extreme and has therefor distorted the image I do not believe that brilliant images are needed if coinquest asked for "info about trade dollars"... So, here is a link that provides some concise information that might 'enlighten' you: http://silvercoinand.com/british-trade-dollar.html -

HistoricCoinage replied to VickySilver's topic in Enquiries about Non British coins
Vicky Silver, I have a feeling that you will get some questions answered here as the members seem much more engaged and knowledgeable in world currency. It is an interesting proof set though and I would love to know the outcome of your enquiry too! -

I like it, it makes for more amusing reading. -
Not really my thing either. At a guess, I'd say Indian kingdom coin?

Sure. That's why they now have a 10% market share (up from around 2% some years ago). That's why they are now worth more than Microsoft. That's why they run Windows games faster than PCs do. That's why Windows imitates OS X more and more with every new release. That's why they have the largest market share of laptops of any individual manufacturer. Sure. Everyone hates them, that's why. Never said everyone hates them, just correcting the post to reflect my opinion.

What Bob said. -
Having the photos on my HTC Desire is certainly a godsend. Admittedly, I only got the phone on Monday and so am accessing them remotely, but I've bought a 14GB card and so shall get around to putting them all onto the phone. I would recommend trying it out, I personally do not have an iPod or iPhone but it might be worth sampling various methods. Over the next few weeks, I shall let you know how my project pans out, if I get around to it...

Don't bother, it's the same on Chrome. Either way, I'm still going to come and visit this forum, so it's not a major hurdle. Clive. -

How to add my site to all search engines for free in 24 hours?

Well, someone got out of bed the correct side this morning. Thanks Peckris, we all wanted to say it. -
Google, as a user, is a bot that trawls through forums for links to enable their search engine to perform better and present the forum's posts as results when people search Google. You will also sometimes see Yahoo and others appear. So don't worry, it's only a friendly search bot that follows links. Think of it as a trusty bloodhond, if you will.
