Not yet Chris, just about to order a magnifying glass though. Must remember to hide this months bank statement from the wife, spent far too much again. This coin collecting lark sure can be detrimental to your pocket and health, if the wife finds out !.

oops! forgot to log in. As I said, excellent book, excellent service Andy.
  4. Hi Sue, Regarding the lettering A, B or C. You should be looking for this to the left of the lighthouse on the reverse. It is very doubtful you'll find anything as this type of coin is very rare.
  5. Got to agree with you there smudge. Although TB and the rest of the goverment lied through their teeth about WMD I think We were still right to go in and end the regime. Yes, sure there still are massive problems to overcome but life still must be better than it used to be for the ordinary Iraqi.
  6. Hi chaps, Just bought this on ebay but it was'nt graded. Would appreciate your opinion on the grade as I'm still new at this. My guess and I stress it is a guess is GVF. Oh and a rough estimate on price, hope I did'nt pay too much for it.
  7. Just seen one for sale for £70, grade aVF, not a patch on the one for sale on ebay.

hi everyone, being new to coin collecting and having settled on collecting farthings and halfpennies for now I'm having a bit of trouble with some of the terms used. I've managed to figure out toothed, beaded and 'H' types. But I'll be dammed if I can figure out this three, four and five berries thing with the farthings. Come on guys, put me out of my misery, its driving me nuts ! Guess I'll have to forgo a few coins and buy myself a decent book.
