I also have my favoured dealers. Try a sneekie bid on the shilling. I've stopped collecting dates (apart from farthings)and now want to shift anything which doesn't cut the mustard. Trouble is my requirements are wallet trembling now. If I sell all my pre 47 silver I may just have the funds for some early hammered silver. Or if I can shift some money from the kids piggy bank

The rates in the 2010 CCGB are 2.2k 0.45k & 0.08k be aware the top end rates have risen...mid range stayed the same and Fine dropped. Anything less than F probably wouldn't interest a serious collector.I haven't got an 03 or 05 but a reasonable selection of other high grade 2/6's until I can afford a top grade 03 or 05 they won't be on my radar(beware of forgeries especially 05)
