    silver dipping

I would never dip the whole coin.I've only used it to clear isolated stains.

    Runner Beans

I love runner beans, freshly cut, cooked al la dente and dipped in HP sauce. I've had mixed success this year with my veg and fruit but still enjoy the "outdoor larder"

    Cataloguing Coins

Don't forget you will only recoup 50-60% of pricing guides.Your choice but whenever I go away the coins are hidden. My feral cat would rip the throat of any intruder and then I have my dog,a 19C police baton and 15 stone of prime Suffolk muscle.

My first batch of coins to CGS

I know we have a few fans of TPG on the forum.Strange but true. Why anyone needs to be told what they have and pay £499 for the pleasure. In the US grading a modern coin or double die is all the rage...get yourself a loupe.

    My Latest Acquisition

Send all edge knocked coins to Paulus together with cleaned and hair lined crap. He has a golf tee made from a 1909 1d T over a tooth.....his 1 iron awaits you.

    My Latest Acquisition

Maybe it is old age or I don't know enough about silver but the 1887 crown has been hairlined cleaned to death. Can't be having that. It would get a 1 iron off a tee made from a melted down open 3 1903 1d. Apologies for the double post....hope it doesn't wear you down :=) Dave (Azda) has mentioned the 35. Edge knocks kill.....it would be the 2nd one off my 1903 open 3 tee.

How scarce are GB 1925 & 1926 halfcrowns?

In recent memory a bulk lot of 1925 2/6's were sold at auction in Australia. At the time we discussed the effect on the market price.Maybe a fellow member can direct you to this thread.
