Sorting my stuff, and an introduction

At the NEC £1 to £1.50 Previously at the Meridian Hotel it could well of been free. At the end of the day the £2 isn't much.I would happily pay more with better amenities and visible security in the room and carpark. I would welcome any opinion from regular sellers who may bring 000's of £'s stock.I avoid the London fairs. The Wetherby fair (Cedar Court)at least has Hotel security. Maybe I'm faffing about nothing but it only needs to happen once. A table selling lotions for Coin Collectors stoop would also be welcome

Don't forget the Midland opens its doors at 9:30 am now. Damn it....a good excuse to get a faster car though. I do note the admission price is creeping up.Better lighting and a refreshment area at the side of the room would be nice.

    Recent aquisitions

If you can't beat the 1d boys join em.I did notice the thread for 1d's but didn't want to get tarred with the same brush. I got a great discount and extremely happy. The majority of my 1d's 1895-1967 are UNC or there abouts apart from the obvious key dates.I have also secured a few quality Edward V11 1/2d's from across the pond.So there is life after 1/4d's....well sort of. I've got my DIY and Car hats on at present, trouble is I have scratched my left eye and DIY has been banned until this heals.

Non I love the improvement.Daylight bulbs look the way to go until Spring. My hands are not as steady as Dave's despite going on the wagon in 2016. I'm going to save myself for a couple of Cubans and malt for the balmy Summer evenings.

    George III Half Guinea

I believe it is a brass gaming token. A half guinea should weigh approx 4g if gold.A gaming token will weigh approx 2g.
