    The German

ChKY nice little film. It was Hitler SS and Himler who were the problem. 99.9% of the Germans,Brits,French,Poles etc could of avoided all this. The worlds peace depends on this although I feel there will be a few more Paris,Tunisia until we act. The head of the snake iSIS must be cut off. Thank goodness for common sense & action will be taken against them. We have a United Europe. I have good friends in Melle whose family suffered loss in WW2 so did mine.Never again,we all have the T shirt.
  4. I just bought an example many years ago. It was cheap but not Penney like accumulators. Most are VF+ due to non circulation. ebay or Whitmore have plenty.

    Grading opinions

Hi Eddie The sov will be about CGS50 Willie HC CGS65 Vickie HC CGS75 These are my opinions only. Paulus has delved into this field and I'm sure he will give a good opinion Bear in mind PCGS/NGC grades would seem more favorable. NGC are known to be the better for UK coins.
  9. Dancing Brave lost it with Starkey on the day. Everyone makes mistakes. DB came roaring back. His turn of speed was a joy to watch.
  10. I took Mrs Peter to the 2000 guineas in 1986 at Newmarket. Mainly to see Dancing Brave run. That horse earned me a few £'s that year. I will never forget the Arc which even my parents lumped on at 9/4. Worth watching on youtube. I had just got a light blue Escort Co car. There must of been 40 in the carpark. Took nearly 1 hr to find.
  11. Hi George I will start with the highest value. Guineas = 21 shillings £1 = 20 shillings Crown = 5 shillings Half Crown = 2 1/2 shillings Florin = 2 shillings Shilling = 1 shilling Sixpence = 1/2 shilling Threepence = 1/4 shilling Penny = 240 to the £1 Halfpenny = 480 to the £1 Farthing = 960 to the £1 The maths on the above should be straight forward. I hope this helps.
  12. As you should. It is a quality coin.
