I bought a batch of Spink sales lists from the early 60's annotated by the original owner. There are loads of quality items listed it made my eyes pop. Seems the original owner of the lists bought some beauties. Even when Coin Monthly was going I bought from adverts therein with a good degree of success. Different playing field now.

I have read some of of MP's posts on facebook. We ought to give him a big forum hug. The guy certainly knows his stuff. Come on MP if you are reading this come and join the bun fight. I would welcome your input. & get me off your banned bidders list.

i wouldn't deny that. He has 5 1910 1/-'s on ebay at the moment.....all blast white. 1910 & 02 are the commonest Eddies so I would give these a miss.

Very nice image Paulus. Was it achieved after reference to books or the net? I really must up my skills. My eldest sells some coins for me under her user name and does ebay reasonable pics. She takes a large cut though (last time 100%). I'm a kind old git.

My mother always treats me to a coin at Xmas and birthday. As long as I can state my case we negotiate on the sum involved. . if I get blown out of the sea at the auctions.....usually it will be a Midland visit.

This is just a joke. For issue should be banned.Either it is or isn't. Fair for me as it wouldn't tempt a bid. Baldwin's just disappear up your A***.

Swanny Get the bugger out of the tomb and resubmit to PCGS or NGC. Retoned my AR*e There are 1000'S of fakes made in China. At least CGS didn't say it was a Chinese takeaway. You could get good £ on yours. Hacksaw on CGS coins..... be careful CGS can be such twats.

Stewie With a max speed of a few knots.....are you ever on time? Get yourself a MG or an Alfa which I'm pacing up and down upon. Mrs Peter's evil daughters thought it wasn't a good idea until I showed pictures. Can I afford 2 weekend cars?

Penny Model 1 error (extra E)
Peter replied to Dutchgreener's topic in British Coin Related Discussions & Enquiries
Dutchgreen Do not consider selling it anywhere apart from London Coin Auctions. These boys are associated with CGS and will give you the correct description. Have you contacted Acumulator? He will cream his M&S 63 thong. -
Penny Model 1 error (extra E)
Peter replied to Dutchgreener's topic in British Coin Related Discussions & Enquiries
Grade is brilliant but now is the time to send to CGS. Keep the attribution of PCGS but the description is crap. Send a PM to Accumulator (Steve) it could get junked in a Heritage Auction. -
Good luck Paulus My fingers are X for you.
