Crikey She will be busy tomorrow night.
  2. Buying quality Nons I see. Upgrading can be an expensive pastime and buying quality is the way to go. I have 1 weekend car (MGTF 03 plate in aUNC 24K mileage) My petrol head daughters boyfriends are joining me this weekend to look at an ALFA GTV .....I so want it but we will give it a good once over. My garage will be full hopefully (apart from a track bike for next year) The late Mrs Peter's car (Hyundai S111 coupe) will be swapped for a tax free French diesel every day driver. The Porsche Cayman is also on my list. A few GEM coins are also on the agenda and will be hunted down. At the end of the day quality is the key.

Nordle I have a red rash on my bollocks after a brief encounter at the Suffolk Sheep show. Do I need to be dipped or keep using TCP? Abbot Ale should be a class A drug.

Hi Hami Do you mean bun head 1860 to 1894. Or the proper young head 1838 to 1859 (1860,64 do exist but don't tell on a forum as you might get an unwelcome visitor )

    Mrs Peter

Thanks Stewie One of my best mates died just before Xmas. His wife was/is a cracker and has decided she needed a drastic change. She is going to work for BA long haul as cabin staff. We had a nice chat tonight. I think I may return to the smoke to earn a few £.That would be drastic to me My girls will come back home and can live here with their boyfriends.(Look after the pets) I will pass the deeds of our other property to my daughters as they think money grabbers will be after me. I also said the girls can run their cars at my expense....for a while. My eldest is a Sous chef at a local fantastic restaurant and the owner told me tonight when her shift is finished he will plate me up a meal. A new start for us all. No knee jerk decisions. I just want to give more time to family and friends. Maybe a few Cubans and a sniff of a few malts & then nose to the grindstone. Time team then bed.

    Mrs Peter

Hi Gents/Ladies Cremation has happened and my mates / Mrs Peter friends didn't let me down. I'm at home emotionally and physically drained. I pity some of the Bury St eds pubs as a quiet wake at one of our village pubs was getting boozy and the majority were going into Bury. Before she started telesales from home. She was a dinner supervisor and teachers assistant at the village primary school. We got some beautiful cards from some of the kids, they referred to her as Superwoman Simpson. She would peel kids oranges and apples and walk around the playground holding some of the kids hands. She also dragged my 2 daughters to the school at 7am so working parents/single parents could drop off their kids and go to work. The Head Mistress told me she never got paid for this but Alison always thought outside of the box and saw the bigger picture. I surely will miss her. We still get a Terry's chocolate orange left on our door step at Xmas. My fondest regards to you Forum friends Peter Simpson
  8. I just hope PGS pick up the variety. Love your site name a good name for an Amsterdam coffee bar. PGS well some of their attributions on UK coins are appalling. Steve (Accumulator) on this site has one as his Avatar. Keep us informed and keep posting.

Pete We would have plenty of space to stretch our legs . The 1d collectors would be like sardines.
  11. Coin News ordered yesterday for 6 months. October edition arrived today. Looking forward to Peck's efforts.

    Mrs Peter

Mrs Peter spoke to the late great Colin Cooke and Colin helped to source a PECK Edition which was waiting for for me after being away on an a 2 week away on business. You can't buy love and I know she was the best. Our local Reverend was a firm friend of Mrs Peter ...Mrs Peter ran the hand bells for the youngsters at the school and had enhanced church services. Where ever she went she was surrounded by the nippers.

I'm in floods on the 2nd week of bedlam. I will get my eldest to try to put some pictures up. OK it should maybe not on a coin forum but I feel I have many separate friends. Now my daughter's understands how we as a bunch ain't sad fuckers are really 24/7 friends. What saddens me is my wife was known as SUPERMAN SIMPSON by the youngest at the school so I bought her Superman T shirts. Walking around Town earlier today I had kids running up to me and my daughter's crying...she obviously was more than I knew. but not un supprised.

    Mrs Peter

Just the latest. Mrs Peter will be cremated next Tuesday 27th so I will be burning mid night oil for a while. All plans set up but all our investments were in her name but my mother is railroading me until the solicitors start working. It doesn't help but the daughters have just got their cars....mega expense Please everyone love people around you and take nothing for granted. She never came around so we never said good bye. My poem to her which will appear on a montage of photographs my daughters are doing. I'm missing you my darling Alison. I cry openly every day. I still dream you are here and that you haven't gone away. My heart is broken unable to amend. You were my wife, soul mate and my best friend. You never said you were leaving. We never said goodbye. I stayed up all night and at 5:am the hospital called me and made me cry. In life I loved you dearly in death I love you still. In my heart you have a place that no one could ever fill. It has broken my heart to lose you but you didn't go alone, for part of me went with you. You will never be alone. XXXX Peter to Mrs Peter Apologies Gents/Ladies
  15. BTW guilty of the crime and the monkey is on my back.
  16. Too right. I wouldn't want that to send me on a wild goose chase to better it.

    Verdigris in shillings

You should try a dip in 100% Acetone (not nail varnish remover) Rinse in distilled water and pat dry. Experiment. There is also an USA product called verdicare. This should solve your problems. Welcome and good luck.
  18. He has been doing some coin write ups and following his other hobbies for a while. Everyone needs a break although I'm coming up to 11 years this Xmas. . Luckily I have footie & car forums.

    1841 half crown help please

If the coin has been in the family for 50 yrs was a relative a collector? Rhubarb scales made be laugh (golden triangle?) This is the one time I would consider getting it authenticated by CGS. It will give any prospective buyer assurance and recover in excess of your slabbing cost. Fingers X for you.

    Any early advice?

Midland is evey 2nd Sunday and Wakefield every last Sunday. You will need a loup preferably with its own light source and a magnifier.
