    Ebay's Worst Offerings

Any collector who is onto the internet and surely will find us. I have told buyers that they have bought Shite and been red carded by ebay. I now have my sellers outside ebay. Just punch in 1562 and the loonies will swamp for it

    Auction Houses?

I love hanging around here.Tapping away at the pooter we have had snow, wind, hail and bright sunshine and I've just secured a landscape contract from my youngest daughters boyfriend for £50 and a rib roast....plus our postie should be delivering a coin or three from Sweden

    Ebay's Worst Offerings

I have sent the seller a message about WRL. Lets wait..... What I find astonishing is the pathetic knowledge of some buyers.

    Bermuda Crown 1964

Hi In VF the value will be the silver content only.. Collectors will require GEF+ Melt prices have been dropping. So hang on to them.
  6. It is great to see quality and these bad boys will still be in the same shape in 500 years time. We won't.
  7. Colin For my sins I read the Daily Mail too (only when I pop into the village shop for bevies and sandwiches) The mail started the KEW 50p rush/20p no date No doubt they will pick up on the Churchill £20 coin

    Elizabeth I Bust 6B & 1F

About time you gave something back to the hobby. Brilliant stuff fella
  9. We have a little investment coming out in June of which the current Mrs Peter is unaware. Now should I be a bit naughty or a lot naughty? Her lottery syndicate won over £500 each and she spent it on herself and our daughters.
  10. I have a US dealer who grades at the UK market. I buy at his grades before pictures.....best dealer/buyer he knows what I like. My Edward V11 1/2d's are the dogs ocks.
  11. Peter, Sounds like you have life sorted. Purely as a matter of interest why have you avoided proofs? Mark Mark I like the currency issues. Nothing against proofs but my buzz is circulated currency. I would love to meet up for a pint.
  12. I did get a fine silver issue shilling and a Mildenham ? shilling from the seller. I really do prefer to see the coins in hand. My fine silver shilling had graffiti but was OK ...couldn't send it back.
  13. I bought a Bury 1d which went straight back but a better one was sent at the same money. The 1d was the early poor condition type of Edward 1....but this was the poorest of poor. Anything nice seems well over priced.
  14. There are threads on here and on Community.com This and the 1763 shilling I can live without.
  15. I bought a shite Bury penny off the seller....never again but it was up with Saltford. I also got my Anne farthing but it is not a saved seller. KB coins is another. I do like to pay EF prices for A/unc+ coins but these I keep these to myself. One US seller I search every day is my source for 1/4d's and 1/2d's What ever source he has is fine by me.
  16. I bought an Anne because I had to. I have avoided proofs and tin to a certain extent but still pursue varieties. It is a lifelong pursuit. LOVE IT.
  17. I thought that was the case. I stumbled upon Pegasus actions this way.
  18. I'm not rising to that copper.
  19. I received a copy of the Phoenix yesterday, front page an advert Royal mint price £30 our price £14.95 Now this is for a circulated George V1 pre 47 6d and a post 1920 George V 6d. So RM charge £30.00 Pheonix £14.95 Value £1.00 This surely is a joke.

    Choice ?

On the money. Mate of mine wanted to send a CGS 82 graded coin to NGC hoping to get a MS 65. Turns out there was an edgeknock that was well concealed by the inner capsule. Now he's considering sending it back to CGS for an explanation. Another one. This has been noted before. It MUST go back.
  21. Glad to see you had to edit your reply Rob.

    George 1V Gold Sovereign

It my eyes However CCGB2015 prices the 1823 identical to the rarer 1825.So my comments/notes apply I prefer CCGB's pricing over Spink. Chris is right on the pace in my eyes. Another good source is London coins completed auction prices. You can also compare the pictures.
