One of my foreman lived in the South West and brought me a plastic gallon container of scrumpy most Monday mornings.It wasn't rocket fuel but was delicious. I drink Old Rosie out of a wine glass so I last the evening. -

Bagerap mentioned he was South African. I must say Bilton is high on my radar. I do get through a fair bit and Mrs Peter often gets it for me as a treat from a SA butcher. Trouble is my youngest likes it as well as the dog and 2 cats. -

Yes Last time we went it was mid January. We went swimming in a Spa.Fantastic....ate a Chinese meal with German size portions and loved the idea of marking beer mats with your consumption of Hereforder.(Yellow handbags) -

Living in Suffolk we have great history. There is the site of a Roman fort less than 400m away. There is a rumor of soldiers marching through the village. The coins were found by a good mate in the Brecklands. 10 miles away.FOC -

I agree The best fair. I go 3 or 4 times a year with Mrs Peter and my beautiful daughters.Hotel meals and a bucket of wine....daughters can down a few now. We take the Springer as well. I have several good dealers...looking forward to the new year with a wad of cash.. -

Thanks chaps. My youngest was working until 2am at a local hotel and I had to pick her up. When I got home I cracked a bottle and emotions came out. I did check my ebay account and I didn't make any silly purchases ...it has happened. Normality has resumed.

Can't sleep... 4 kids 2 grown up. I just feel so helpless. I lost my father to cancer 14 years ago but we had time to say our good byes.(asbestos in the Navy) He did not want us to claim....Ark Royal was a big part of his life....we didn't claim. A month ago my mate was fitter than a butchers dog (on the outside). Everyone just respect and appreciate your loved ones/good friends. A difficult week coming up. Sod money,sod coins,sod Xmas.

Yep. Finished the bottle of Linkwood a few days ago. Better get in some urgent medical supplies before Christmas, otherwise it will have to be Black Bush.
