No, i don't want too sell it now nor does he want to buy it, he just thought that if he bought 2 coins he'd get a £200 rebate. Some ebayers just think they can buy coins at 95% off the asking price. I had one in 2012 send a £30 offer on an 1850 shilling that was priced at £2000 You can usually get maybe 10-15%.If too expensive I would walk away.

What you buy is bit of a give away. I bought 1 wife and it still works for me. Punch above your weight. Mine will get me a nice cuppa in the morning and gives me a 68 I will owe her one. I can still buy any coin I want...she knows -

I started on collecting pre 1992 copper but after collecting about £10 it was worth £15 I gave up. I still have BU mint rolls of 60's cu and a load of decimals my great,great grandson/daughter might benefit. -
History and reading up are part of the collecting pleasure. May I suggest Edward 1 silver 1d's which are so cheap. I'm working through the mints and classes.
