Another unidentifiable one. "GEORGIUS IV DEI GRATIA 1826" on one side, and a lion standing on a crown on the reverse, with "BRITANNIARUM REX FIDEI DEFENSOR" written around it. Well, its been a long day sorting through these! Here's what I have so far... Half Crowns 1894 1896 x 3 1897 x 2 1899 x 3 1900 x 4 1902 1906 x 6 1907 x 6 1908 x 3 1909 x 4 1910 x 3 1913 x 3 1914 x 9 1915 x 9 1916 x 3 1917 1918 x 5 1926 x 7 1932 x 8 Shilling 1891 1893 x 2 1895 x 5 1896 1898 1899 1900 x 2 1901 x 2 1906 x 3 1907 x 4 1911 1915 x 2 1916 x 2 Florin 1911 x 2 1912 x 6 1914 x 2 1915 x 2 1916 1918 x 3 1936 One Florin Two Shillings 18 in total, mostly late 1800’s 3 pence Around 300 in total, starting in 1800’s, going into 1930’s 6 pence 9 in total, from the 1900’s The others... well, they side in ominous piles, forcing me to sort them tomorrow. I think most of them are non British. They're bronzey and goldey, ranging in the 1800's mostly, and appear to be a combination of some British, German, Cuban, Palestinian, French, etc! What do you reckon? Flog 'em all for the value of silver where possible?
