  1. Thanks for your information Hus, great site, excellent pictures and information! Regards, Ian.
  2. Hi Chris, last post I asked about the mint details on sovereigns, I've just received my new magnifier from your Predecimal.com site. Excellent service I might add! The marks on the coins are a B followed by a P. Can anyone tell me where they were minted, and if the place of mint makes any difference to the value of the coin.
  3. Thanks for your speedy reply Chris! The Queen Victoria coin doesn,t have any marks. Both the George V. have them, but I can,t make them out with my magnifying glass, I will have to get a stronger one.
  4. Hi all, I am new here, I have just came across some gold coins. One is a sovereign George V, 1911, one a half sovereign George V. 1914, and one half sovereign Queen Victoria 1899. My question is how do you tell where they were minted. I have seen various ones for sale with the place of mint detailed, are there marks on them depicting this, if so where do I find them?Hope someone can help. Regards, Ian.
