check your technology 2009 for errored lettering... and there was a £2 on ebay with off centre (slight) beading where the join is, some went fully onto the silver bit... and people were bidding. and the 2008 running track one was at a fiver also O.O
-
look at the bottom, there is a missing dot between DEF and ELIZABETH
-
i think 1985 was slightly differant to the 1986+ on all denominations. the legend was thinner text or something, i'll have to check

i never use BU.. but still nice. -
i like the obverse text style, i do feel though they could have put the date on either side of the ship though (in the golden bit where the decoration is) with that font. but a tenner for £2?
-
got some today 2005 technology (as far as that year goes THAT is the one to go for 3,837,250 mintage) AND 2009 technology, interestingly the edge milling doesnt exist inside the O in ON and the obverse has scuff all the way around the silver coloured bit from the point of the queens neck all the way around
-
there will be more then people think, afterall there are 29, for them to release 29 designs even with low (200k) mintage on each, that is still a good chance for 1.
-
the weight of all those £2 coins has broke ebay then?

1912H is more common then 1934 based on the mintages, never much fuss made over that or the 8 million 1932 :/

1945 9 double? -
agreed, people buying those stupid £2 coins are denying people of finding one that and the mint will have to mint a stupid number in 2011 to cover the lack of £2 in curculation
