I order one as well, perhap it will be possible to defuse the leds somehow. Well Gary there may well be a couple of these being sold on the Suffolk car boot scene in the near future. I think with other peoples input these could be a winner. Diffusers,background,lighting position etc Copper coins maybe suitable,especially light chocolate coloured beauties. Unfortunately the software is only written for Windoze That's ok as some of us only have old computerzzzzzzzzz

A further observation now that I've found the rest of the pictures, I think the lighting could do with some work to get rid of the glint on the coins.

What I like about that set-up is that it's direct to your PC. You can see what you are getting without all of the taking the photo with your camera then down loading and editing before you can see you need to try again.

I think it's all about intent. A silver coin stored in inert conditions will over many years go though grey and eventually to black. Add any type of polution into the mix and you get colours. So is storing a silver coin in an old brown envelope AT or NT.

Hi rpreddie, Coins over 100 years old attract a charge of 5% and coins less than 100 years old attract a 20% charge, this charge is on top of the buyers premium so you pay it on the whole final cost of the coin Any postage and insurance is also included. Ensure the declaration also included the commodity code otherwise they will most likely just add the 20% flat rate. -
I would highly recommend Peter Nichols but, alternatively, many auction houses have some in a 'Miscellaneous' section, such as London Coins. It's worth looking around auction houses as you can often pick up a real bargain. Connor if you do go the coin cabinet route the type of wood is important as the chemicals in some woods can badly effect your coin. Mahogany seems to be the wood of choice.

Robbed whilst ordering a pint? Not what I expected the situation to be at all. When did you last buy a pint in a pub. Is it common for cars to have internal motion detectors. They tended to be troublesome for false alarming. Widows are a favourite because they dont alarm. -

I attended a couple of years ago and picked up a 1902 low tide penny UNC with nearly full lustre for £25. It was the 2 to gap variety which I wasn't even aware of until two weeks earlier when you auctioned on for £400.

It would be cheaper to have bought half of the DNW sale than get divorced and you can trust me on that one old bean! For future decision making on this, a quick Excel copy/paste reveals it would have cost over £800,000 for half the 2 day sale (including juice) DNW don't want your testicles or the rest of your life in payment though Paul Oh they do, but just without all the incriminations and anamosity.

Well it's all going very slow, it taken 1 1/2 hours to get through the first 100 lots. My interest isn't until around lot 300, This chair is not too comfy, I think I,m growing an extra crack.
