I have looked at the coin and ther is a letter J on the face of the coin just below the beginning of the date 1847-1934..presume this is what you mean. Susan I have tried to upload pictures of coins but files too large even for single photo

yep the 1940's coins are aluminium 2 mark looks silver to me! I would attempt to tell you what the lettering around th edge says however my german and the type isnt easy to read

I have also found a silver coin. on the front is 1847-1934 paul von hindenburg with the image of a male head. the rear says reichs mare with the figure 2 and the image is of the swastika surrounded by a garland with the eagle above. there is writing around the rim but my eyes /german is not good enough to read although there is the date 1938 and visible and small star with a swirl on either side. also there is 2 x 1940 10 pfennig silver coins 5 pfennig 1924 with ears of corn on the rear again are this worth keeping..does anyone have an interest?? thanks s

DELVING AGAIN INTO THE COINS LEFT TO ME, I have found 1934 new zealand shilling . Front clearly shows kiwi kneeling down and the rear shows george v king emperor. This coin appears very clear again. again is this of any interest to anyone? I feel I could go on all night finding these lost treasures but realise a lotof the coins are scrap value only thanks s

Hi i HAVE FOUND A 1922 FRANC CLEARLY VISIBLE WITH 'COMMERCE INDUSTRIE' ON FRONT. REAR SAYS 'BON POUR 1 FRANC AND 'CHAMBRES DE COMMERCE DE FRANCE AROUND THE OUTER REAR EDGE. THE COIN APPEAR VERY CLEAR POSSIBLY GOOD CONDITOION WOULD ANYONE WANT THIS?? THANK YOU S

it is a bit addictive for a bank holiday..looking at coins I have found george v 1917 good condition silver 1 anna 1943 1 anna george v1 1943 2 annas george v1 square shape quarter rupee 1944 silver george v1 are theses any good and are there rare countries for coins as I seem to have a bit of everthing.... thank you for any comments and I will try to get pictures done

I have also come across a silver colour 1961 coin..there is a number5 I recognise on the rear and front shows a 3 headed lion . can anyone tell me what this is as it looks unusual!! sorry to be so vague but I have come across a lot of coins and do not want to sell them on ebay so rest assurred!!

having looked at the 1935 again..it is clear but I am not con buff enough to say like new ...coin wrapped in newsprint for over 40 years

I have also found a florin similar to the one posted on this site as gothic?? can somebody tell me about it as obviously I am a novice having come across a stash of coins. What is so special abot this coin..the rear has the 3 lions of at the top , to the right looks like a single lion/unicorn upside down, the bottom has again 3lions and to the left is a harp... The front shows Victoria but no date regards SCH
