  1. Thanks for that, my grandad says the coins have been there for at least 50 years, i would of thought brass would of gone dark but anyhow, thanks for your interesting reply.
  2. Hi all, I recently went to visit my grandad to collect an old pair of leak speakers, im into vintage hifi and could not pass them by but when I went into his shed I noticed he had been turfing stuff out and there was a bunch of stamps cigarette cards buttons and all sorts of weird and wonderfull things, he told me I could just take what I wanted but to be honest I did not care for any of it but took these coins as everyone knows some coins are worth something to someone, anyway, here they are, the small silver one is warn to a point almost totaly smooth and on the back I can just make out I think a lion stood on a hill, the gold? coin is dated 1701 george lll so my dad said, I doubt they are anything special but any input as to how good they are would be greatfully received, knowing my usual luck they will be fakes or something. Ive had to upload just one photo, it will not let me upload any more. Thankyou
  3. Here is the other side, the coin is very worn but then again if the date is correct then i think i would if i were that old Lol, i have not cleaned it and neither has anyone else.
