  1. no not fair at all..........., there is a huge gulf between the regular knowledgeable dealers and those who sell the overgraded polished/cleaned overpriced crap on ebay,..........and thats the whole point to choolie, find yourself a good knowledgeable dealer, bide youre time and get the piece you want. ski sounds like good advice^_^
  2. Right thanks. I see there is a MATT Proof for that year too, fairly cheep. Maybe that would help with the issues?
  3. Thanks lads, I see rob has one as well certainly a few possiblities around and a few I didn't know about before.
  4. Yes I would like to think I can get 2010 prices with a little patience. I am not particularly keen on buying on ebay a good dealer would be my preferred choice although as you say a lot of them overgrade too. A GEF would suffice me but i'll have to wait til payday.

  9. That is a fantastic design on the reverse of this coin it is really making me want one. My 2010 copy of spink is telling me I should of been able to get a 1902 example for £55 in EF or £95 in UNC back then Which is just about in my price range. Tell me what you think of this one on ebay ebay 1902 Florin any comments about seller and grading welcome thanks.

I have updated my profile after reading this topic.

    Too Pretty?

That is nice but the background colour is a bit wishy washy, a solid deep blue or red might work better in my opinion.
  12. Very Nice; I want one.
  13. Nice ooking coin, no edge knocks/nicks. very nice.
  14. Now that one is nice.

New widescreen laptop, coins look like eggs!

As accumulater said above, aspect ratio rather than resolution.
  16. Great selection and very reasonably priced but the ones I want I can't afford right now
  17. Is there such a thing as a real Drittaniar then?
  18. Ha, there you go. Just as I was thinking the poor kid was gonna go back to his teacher and say;?I tried to get the information off a coin forum but all they could talk about was cockney rhyming slang?
  19. Yes but the presentation is great.
  20. ???!!!!!! I know the first one is stairs...... pub; road; wrong; look...dodn't know skin and blister or gypsy kiss. I do like to refer to a suit as a whistle for whistle and flute and a wig as a syrup for syrup and fig those are my favourites.

    Crowns or Halfcrowns?

    Ebay's Worst Offerings

In the watch list....... fingers crossed Oh shucks it isn't a farthing, I was looking forward to bidding as well It isn't 1807 either, the date being on the coin is always a good clue I do like it though, I think it may well be the bronzed proof and well worth the BIN price, sorry I meant well worth throwing in the BIN. lol
