    1934 Crown

Turns out I don't have the scales I thought I did. Is there any other way of making sure it is authentic? And Chris, when you send coins internationally, do you send them as an envelope or parcel? And do you acknowledge that they are valuable?

    1934 Crown

I have personally had the coin for about 13/14 years and I think it was given to me in a jar of coins by my grandfather, so I assume he had them for a while. I'll have to weigh it, there are some scales lying around somewhere.

Well, I have thought about it and I am rather keen to sell it and as Noble here in Aus haven't gotten back to me at all, if you are still interested Chris I would like to know how I would go about selling to you?

Ebay is certainly out of the option for me as I have never sold anything on there before, an avid buyer but not a seller. You have all been of much help to me on this and I am very thankful to you. Am still very glad I didn't make the mistake of selling it for the original price I was offered.

Thank you for all the help and info you have given me, All I have to do now is decide on whether or not it's worth keeping it.

Haven't really looked around at all for buyers as I'm still very new to it all. Who or what is this Noble you speak of? Being in Aust. it would be much easier to deal here.

    1934 Crown

I am very interested in selling this coin, but am a little skeptical as I have been burned selling stamps in a similar fashion. Would higher resolution photos be of any help?
  8. Well my eyes are definitly seeing a 3, just thought I'd throw in another opinion.

    1934 Crown

Unless you live in Australia, I don't think you really need to worry about the name, which I can't remember anyways. Rest assured I won't be going back there. He also valued another coin which I'll put up here, for some more reliable help it seems. Actually, I won't as it's an Aussie coin...

    1934 Crown

Wow,... I had figured it would be worth something as the mintage is very low, but thats quite alot. Had it valued by a guy today who offered me 50 pounds for it (probably because he knew I didn't know much about it), glad I hung onto it. Thanks very much for the information!
