Anyone At Londoncoins Sale Today?
azda replied to azda's topic in British Coin Related Discussions & Enquiries
She simply should'nt be doing two jobs if she can't handle the questions and at least be polite in her reply. She told me Friday she'd get back to me with the tracking but nothing came and thats why i had to ask again, if she'd done the job she said she was going to do Friday i would have had no need to bother her again -

Yup you are correct Peter, customer Service is important if a seller/dealer or auction house want repeat business, but i'm finding this woman Rather obnoxious if you ask more than 1 question -
Anyone At Londoncoins Sale Today?
azda replied to azda's topic in British Coin Related Discussions & Enquiries
So as i was saying, i'd paid for my lot on the 4th March and by last Thursday 12th March i'd still not heard if it had been posted nor had it arrived to me, so i sent an email to Semra Cetin and asked if it had been posted yet. A fairly quick reply came on the Friday with the response that she''lol email again the same day with the Tracking number, so after waiting on the Friday for the answer and throughout the weekend i decided to AGAIN ask today (Monday 17th March) to ask of it had been posted yet, i replied to her email in which she stated she's get back to me ASAP with the details and politely signed "regards" at the end of the email. I got the quick response (maybe an hour later) with the Tracking number and her rather cheeky REGARDS written in capitals and after checking the Track, it had only been posted on the 12th March, 8 days AFTER i'd paid. What i'd like to know is, WTF is it with this womans attitude to customers, she is as unfriendly as a fart in a spacesuit and really needs bringing down several pegs. The customer Service is shocking and i really don't expect to be waiting 8 days AFTER i've paid for it to be posted. It may well be try first and past time i'll be bidding with them, oh and i'm STILL WAITING on my coin -

Buying forma seller to sell on at an inflated price IE shilling on it
-
Richard we all know that the UK rip off its residents, this Banking fee is just one instance. The UK is supposed to be in the EU yet in Germany there is no charge for transferring money throughout the EU, only in rip off Britain dös this happen. I pay a small charge every year for my Bank account and its functions, but it does'nt run into 3 figures per year. One of the perks of living in Germany i suppose but i'm getting fairly annoyed at subsidising the Einheit Mr Perkins which basically means everyone on Germany is paying to rebuild the Old East Germany, it was supposed to stop in 2010 but its still ongoing, must be a sh**hole still lol

Just a quick heads up on a seller and buyer who are 1 and the same. Although the seller sells junk (mostly silver bullion) i've been selling some silver proof myself.. The ebay seller bough a couple of coins from me a proof 1977 jubilee 25p and something else and i noticed shortly after it listed on their ebay list. I basically left a Feedback saying they'd bought from me at X Price and then added them to the blocked bidders list. I had the buyer previously and never thopught to check the names etc until they won 3 items from me today, so i checked both addresses against the two names and found they are both 1 and the same and i expect the 3 items they won to be listed on the seller site which will more than likely be shill bidded up to make Profit (this is my opinion only) but if my items sell at this Level then in theory they should be selling it at the same Level. So the seller Name is francesca12008 and the buyers Name is fanandloulou both with the same address (Francesca Infanti)

Yes ajwcoins did come here from time to time, he mostly sells CGS stuff

People will pay more for an inbetween grade if they think they can sell it on at the next grade up. A good collector would pay the lower of the inbetween grade.

Jeez, Anyone Bidding?
azda replied to Paulus's topic in British Coin Related Discussions & Enquiries
You know, sometimes you can give People benefit of the doubt, but it's apparent that he's just blatantly mis-attributing various coins (stating they are rare) when they are worth only a few Pounds or at best multiples of 10s up to 100 Pounds. I have myself mentioned a coin that was mis-atributed to him with nothing being done. He deserves everything he gets and will get but then again, if it's anything like the ebay seller i highlighted many many times on here then we'll find buyers from this very Forum for saxbys coins, ironic that we're probably helping Highlight his auctions and People will buy because of it (nowt strange as folk) as they say in Prestwich The other Thing is, ebay don't know their arse from their elbow when it Comes to coins, they have no one who knows enough about the subject to say "this is'nt genuine" or this is falsely described and this seller has done this many times" until the day that there is someone of such stature working at ebay then they will continue believing a seller with 20,000 plus Feedbacks against a buyer with 100+ -

Lol, feel free to post them Clive. If you did'nt bid why is he threatening and what? -
Sorry, in short it was a serious offer, you can obviously pay any costs involved and i'll be happy to sort out the slabbing for you. P.s, i have'nt changed stance towards TPGs, rhe coins i want slabbing are coims i intend to sell over the Pond
-
If you want to send a coin i'm going to do a 1 year membership at the 130 euro Level and i'll get 5 free grades, those will be taken by a few Morgan Dollars and 1 or 2 spanish pillar dollars i have, if i get anymore done after that it was start costing, i'll find out the fine detail when i go there hopefully sometime this week
-
Welcome to the forum Dan. You have come to the right place for friendly advice. Apart from all of the above you can also wade through coin aquisition of the week thread. Thereyou will see many of the various coins members have bought and posted there for all to see, going through some of the 225 Pages might also tweak your interest in a certain denomination and types such as hammered or milled. Its a good place to start but for gods sale DO NOT go in the TPG section until you've been collecting for a few years, its a minefield and can get quite heated, you have been warned
-
I have 5 Morgans of which i want maybe 3 of them slabbing because the 1878CC is a nice high grade and the 1881S PL (prooflike) for the American way of grading is also high grade, and from the NGC site an MS65 is valued at $2250 so it has to be worth my while.

Has he got his eye on you Clive. Was it last week when i bidded up the Chas I triple Unite that some ebay scroat had grabbed the picture from buckscoins, i think i topped out at 20 grand before it was removed -
Well it appears that there is an NGC office right on My doorstep. If i pay 130 i get 5 free gradings which is much cheaper than PCGS Paris who want 69 membership and 45 a coin. Anyone needing coins slabbed for the American market?
